This worksheet works well alongside our Reading Poetry — The Swing Video to develop children's understanding of poetry.

After watching the video, can children highlight the rhyming words and answer the questions given? They are then asked to draw a picture to accompany the poem and practise reading it with a friend.

Answers are included.

This resource is also available in a handy Lesson Pack, containing a selection of worksheets and PowerPoints on Poetry.
