SnakeShake up your Phonics lessons with this fantastic rainforest-themed Interactive Phonics Game.

This game is designed to give pupils practice of blending for reading and to grow their understanding of how graphemes and phonemes correspond. It can also be used to practise reading words with adjacent consonants and polysyllabic words.

It goes like this:
Pupils see a word and have to decide whether it's real or made-up. You can choose which graphemes are included in the game. And that's it — simple but very effective!

All our Phonics games are perfect for playing with the whole class on your Interactive Whiteboard, or one-to-one. They’re jam-packed with colourful pictures, jolly characters and snazzy animations, to make sure pupils stay super-engaged and are learning at the same time!

It isn't a trek to find the rest of our Real or Fake Phonics games — they're right here!

The Brilliant Blending Certificate and Fake Finder Award are both great for rewarding children once they have completed this game.
