Ava the Astronaut's Alliteration Game (Reception)

This Interactive Phonics Game from CGP+ really is out of this world! It's so fun, your pupils won't realise they're actually working on their alliteration skills.

It'll help pupils recognise the sounds at the start of words and hear the differences between those sounds. Plus, it's great for helping them polish their listening skills and teaching them to distinguish between phonemes.

In this super-entertaining game, pupils will hear a recording of a word, and see a matching picture. Below that, they'll be given four more words and they have to pick which one starts with the same sound as the word at the top — each option is also read aloud and accompanied by a colourful picture. If you like, you can choose to see all the words written out on-screen.
