This activity is designed to be used independently by children to consolidate their knowledge of the 'w' sound. It can also be completed by children in pairs. Children must find hidden CVC cards in the sand tray and read the word by blending each sound together, then match it to the correct picture card. Another idea for using this resource is also included.
